I've lived on campus for a total of one full school year - two semesters - and I really don't know why I did it that second semester because I hated living there the first one why did I think it would be better this semester? Oh, because I stupidly trusted someone that used to be my friend that this semester it would be extremely fun because it'll be with three other people. Boy, was I stupid and was she wrong.
1. My terribly insane roommates.

2. Money.
Since I'll be living at home with my family, I'll save money on things such as food, utilities, and basic house items. This means a lot to me since I've recently had to get a car and therefore owe thousands of dollars in car payments and insurance. It was really a hassle having to buy everything for the on-campus apartment when no one else bought anything while I am a full-time student and I can only work a few hours a week because of the classes. I am grateful to be able to live at home with family so my mother can help me live.
3. Food.
This kind of goes along with the money aspect because food was a big issue for me and I went a few days or weeks without eating a lot simply because I did not have the funds. Even though my mother does not have time to cook dinner for my sister and I at home because she has to work all the time, it will be nice to go downstairs and be able to make myself food without forcing my body to endure starvation.
4. The noise throughout the day.
I am so tired of hearing loud noises coming from all over in my apartment because of either my roommates in the next room or the campus surrounding us.It will be a blissful change to be able to study and relax in my house as a commuter without annoying, drunk college kids constantly making noise. I may sound like an old lady, but those who hate people would agree with me too.
5. My animals.
I have eight cats, three dogs, a lizard, many fish, and a bird so I love animals. I really could not take living away from them, so I'm really excited to be surrounded by my lovely babies. Animals really keep my stress levels down and keep me sane, so imagine how bad I felt when I wasn't around them all the time because I had been living on campuses.
6. My school work.
Since there will be silence at my house unlike it was when I lived on the college campus, it will be much easier for me to successfully complete my assignments and study better for my exams so my grades and overall school life will improve and not just my living situation. I will also be able to focus since I won't have people leaving or entering where I am and asking me to hang out with them or them hanging out in my room, therefore disrupting my studies.
7. My bed.
College beds are crap. They are hard, uncomfortable and disgusting. Other people have laid in them and have had sex in them which freaks me out and makes me yearn for my old bed at home that only I've slept in. My bed at home is comfortable and relaxes me more than the college's beds do.
8. Freedom.
The terrible college campus I was living at had such strict rules and qualities that messed up my every day living. For instance, I made perogies and after two seconds of the food cooking in the oven, the fire alarm went off and the school had the audacity to write me a warning about my irresponsibility when their fire alarms are more sensitive than a horny girl's nipple.
9. Work.
Since I work really close to my college and my actual house, it is no problem for me to go to work either way. Except, living at home will allow me to go to bed early if needed for work and wake up early as well instead of having to be super silent waking up and having to tell your roommates to stop partying so you could sleep. I will also be able to work in other stores with my job instead of just the one close to my school because they will now know I am able to drive longer distances.
10. Cleanliness.
Because of my irrational OCD over how clean my room is and how I always want the simplest of items and the smallest amount of things to own, living with three other people who were completely messy and cluttered really bothered my mentality and stress. I have never seen more messy people until I started living on a university campus and it really stressed me out insanely. I am so happy to be going back home at the end of the semester to my clean, organized bedroom.
