I remember hearing about Steph Curry for his basketball skills, and let’s not discount that- he’s awesome. But, his strong marriage to Ayesha Curry is something to aspire to as well. Here are ten reasons Steph and Ayesha should be your “relationship goals.”

I’m biased but the fact that they met in Charlotte gains mad respect in my book.

2. They met at church.

Even if you’re not religious, you can’t deny that it’s a rare thing in this day and age to find someone loyal. If our new relationship goals couple met at church, maybe we should take a page from their playbook!

3. Young Love.

They started dating in 2008 when Ayesha was 19 and Steph was 20. Who says young love can’t last forever?

4. Win Together, Lose Together.

Ayesha is Steph’s biggest fan. She supports him in basketball and life, and he supports her in her successful food and lifestyle blog.

5. Family Goals.

Just look at this. Look. at. This. They’re just so dang adorable!

6. Mutual Success.

Did I mention Ayesha is successful in her own right? This boss lady is an amazing mom and always a cheerleader for her man, but that’s not all. She runs a successful food and lifestyle blog (ayeshacurry.com) and she is even releasing her first cookbook soon.

7. They’re down to earth.

If you’re anything like me, celebrities who post hilarious selfies on Instagram have a special place in your heart. I love to see the human side of my favorite couples, being themselves unapologetically and sharing it with the rest of us.

After the first minute I was sold. They’re so cute and “a-dork-able” I knew I wanted to have a love like this one day.

9. Always classy, never trashy.

I laughed out loud when I read Ayesha’s response to a Twitter user asking her and Steph to have a threesome with her.

10. You always need someone you can goof off with.

If you’re not following them on instagram, you’re missing out. They’re so funny and it is now my life goals not only to have a relationship like the Currys, but to one day meet them.

Your relationship goals should not be the man buying the woman Tiffany jewelry, a Land Rover, or tons of Victoria’s Secret underwear. Those things are fine and dandy, but your goals should be someone who you can be successful together, laugh together, and always be yourself. Move over Jay Z and Beyonce, Steph and Ayesha Curry are here to stay!
