You by no means, created me physically or biologically, but you have raised me as your own. Being adopted has had it's ups and downs for me mentally when dealing with the reasons why everything turned out the way it did, but in the end I was always grateful that I had you two as my parents.
You always strived to provide the best possible life for my siblings and I, and always went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to parenting. For that I am grateful. You have taught me to be optimistic, independent, hard working, and most of all the importance of never giving up.
Your positivity has always been something that has inspired me, and being a future teacher spreading positivity is something I have found where the phrase 'a little goes a long way' can apply in multiple situations. You have and still do remind me that things could always be worse and that there's no time to dwell on negative events otherwise you will lead a negative life.
You constantly push me to continue on a path of excellence and remind me, when I have what feels like a near impossible week coming up, that nothing is impossible and to tackle each task one at a time. Without that extra push, I don't think i'd be able to get through some weeks.
I'd like to thank you for all of the dedication and time you have spent and still spend trying to make sure we are able to create the best lives possible for ourselves. To continue to remind us of certain morals, values, and push us to continue to grow so we can eventually provide a life similar to the one we were give for our own children.
Thank you for all that you have done and all that you still do. I couldn't ask for better parents. You two have given me the skills to live a successful life and I couldn't be any more lucky to have you in my life.
