Summer is here. A lot of students have gone home, but some of us lucky ones found a way to stick around Wilmington this summer. When people ask what your plans are for the summer, your response will probably be something like "a part-time job, an internship, going to the beach, and hanging out." Sure, going to the beach is exciting, but there is also so much more to do in the Wilmington area. You should spend some extra time this summer to get creative and create a bucket list.
1. Take the ferry downtown.
2. Write a letter and put it in the mailbox on the North End of Wrightsville Beach.
3. Walk the Loop at Wrightsville Beach.
4. Try a variety of donuts at Wake 'N Bake.
5. Visit the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
6. Go to Masonboro Island for Independence Day.
7. Visit houses from the set of "One Tree Hill."
8. Attend some of the Sundown Concerts downtown.
