Why You Should Watch The National Championship Game, Even If You Hate College Football

Ladies, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be tuning into the CFP Championship on Monday the 12th on ESPN. The Oregon Ducks defeated last year’s 2014 National Champions, Florida State Seminoles, 59-20 in the Rose Bowl. Also. The Ohio State beat SEC conference powerhouse, Alabama, 42-35 in the Sugar Bowl. My spirits were crushed earlier in the year, when 'Bama beat Auburn in the “Iron Bowl” ; however,  I got some revenge watching the Big Ten Ohio boys crush the Crimson Tide’s dreams of heading to the National Championship. Roll tide boys, roll tide.

Even if you’re not into college football, you should watch the game if only for the babes that will be playing and the ones on the bench. So, let’s take a look at the hottest men gracing the rosters of both the University of Oregon and The Ohio State University.

Oregon:

#31 Kenny Basset

Is a redshirt Senior, running back from Beverly Hills, California. Although he’s only 5’9”, he’s got a great smile and can bench 295lbs.

#58 Tanner Carew

Is a Freshman, long snapper from La Verne, California. At 6’1” and 200 pounds he was considered the nation’s top prep long snapper prospect before committing to Oregon. Although Carew did not get a whole lot of playing time this season, he is sure nice to look at.

#33 Tyson Coleman

Is a redshirt Junior, linebacker from Lake Oswego, Oregon. Standing at 6’1” and 235lbs. Who cares if he was redshirted this season, have you seen him? Those eyes, his jaw bone? Gorgeous.

#8 Marcus Mariota

Is a Junior, quarterback from Honolulu Hawaii. At 6’4” and 219lbs he dominated this season throwing over 4,000 passing years and 40 touchdowns. Plus he’s a babe. Google him.

Ohio:

#11 Von Bell

Is a Sophomore, defensive back from Rossville, Georgia. At 5’11” and 200 lbs he was Under Armour All-American in 2013. As a senior in High School, he was ranked the No. 4 player in Georgia and have you seen his jaw line?

#97 Joey Bosa

Is a Sophomore, linebacker from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This guy is huge at 6’5” and 278 pounds. He was named the Big Ten Conference’s Nagurski-Woodson Defensive Player of the Year, plus he’s got some great flow, and a killer smirk. Who wouldn't want their boyfriend to be 6'5"? God damn.

#65 Pat Elfein

Is a Sophomore, offensive lineman from Pickerington, Ohio. At 6’3” and 300 pounds he’s killing the game. I could look at this OSU sophomore class all day.

#5 Braxton Mille
r

Is a Senior, quarterback from Huber Heights, Ohio. He stands at 6’2” and weighs 215lbs and was named the 2013 Chicago Tribune’s Most Valuable Player. He’s pretty dashing off the field too.

So if you’re watching the game because you genuinely love football or because you just like gawking at athletes slamming into each other in tight pants, tune in. I know I will be. Go Ducks? Go Bucks?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
