Halloween has become a very fun holiday for kids; between getting candy, having fun with friends and dressing up as whatever they've dreamed to be, kids are guaranteed to have a memorable night. But in the past few years, Halloween has become dangerous with potential threats to the kids that lurk. In the past few years, unsealed candy was the worst of the parents' worries. This year is a double whammy between the unsealed candy and the clowns that have been plaguing our country recently. The clowns are a very big problem mostly because people don't know what they are capable of. Some of the clowns are just older kids having a laugh and scaring younger kids. However, some are serious adults that are attacking people. Now normally this would be no reason to cancel a holiday, but because of the craziness that has enveloped this country, it may be time to throw in the towel on Halloween.
Unsealed candy is now little more than a fairy told by parents to protect their children. It is a parent's job to warn their kids of danger after all, and if kids wish to keep Halloween then they should listen to their parents. Like I said earlier, Halloween is a great holiday for kids, and I would never want to cancel it but the danger is real this year because of the clown attacks. Even with the threats of clown attacks, the police can't find every clown so it is best if parents don't let their kids go around in clown costumes because it would anger other parents who are concerned about their own children's safety.
Halloween might be dangerous, but never in a million years would America give up on a such a precious holiday. So Halloween should and will go on. Parents will worry about their kids, and there will always be some new problem to concern people. Since most of the crazy clowns are just people dressed up, the most for parents to worry about is some jump scares.
