Prayer. It's something people may do without even thinking about it. For others, it may be a little harder, maybe it's even a little intimidating. After all, Jesus was the only perfect person there ever was and ever will be. How in the world do you address someone that has never made a mistake?

You just talk. Prayer doesn't have to be asking for things. It can be thank you's, I love you's, or even a cry out for help. He will always hear you, and He will always respond. Jesus always hears us, even if you can't find the right words to say, he knows what you mean.

"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." Psalm 34:17

There have been times where I have had a passing thought, I didn't even say it out loud and probably didn't even think of it again, and after a period of time, He responded to it. For example, my church is currently doing 21 Days of Prayer. It's where you get up super early and go to church to worship and pray. At my church the service starts out with a few worship songs,we hear a message, then we go into individual prayer, we pray together as a group, we sing one more worship song, and then we leave and go start our days. I have been blessed that I have been able to work in a daycare that my church provides, so all I have to do is walk up a staircase and I'm at work, ready to start my day. One afternoon as I was working in a classroom I heard the worship team warming up for service later that night and I had a thought. I thought how amazing would it be if there were a worship team ready for whenever we needed them at all times? And then I thought, how awesome would it be if we could start every day worshiping the Lord with a group of spirit-filled people? While it's not all the time, and not even every day (after these 21 days), God heard my heart cry out for him in the few seconds it took for me to think those thoughts. I didn't pray about it, I didn't talk about it, I didn't even think about it again, but He knew my heart was genuine. He blessed not only me, but my entire community with 21 Days of Prayer, a time where we can love on and pray to God as a group before we start our days.

I wrote all that to say that God knows the desires of your heart. He knows exactly what we need and will give it to us exactly when we need it. He is a Good, Good Father. So don't be afraid if you don't know what to pray about or even how to pray. Just talk to him like you would a friend, He knows your heart and He loves you.

"Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

Prayer is the most powerful weapon we are equipped with to fight against the Enemy. I want you to take full advantage of it. Scream, cry, laugh, dance, sing, He will always hear you, no matter how you decide to talk to him.

"From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61:2

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
