What The News Doesn't Tell You About The Parkland Shooting

Over a month has passed since the horrible school shooting occurred in Parkland, Florida and it's obviously still being talked about. The survivors are fighting for gun control and safety regulations, and this is causing a lot of controversies.

Everyone has something to say about it from CNN to Fox News to Twitter. There are fights between gun owners and non-gun owners, and fights between education people and non-educated people on the subject.

What the news doesn't show you is what these kids actually went through. The emotional trauma they experienced that day, and now carry with them for the rest of their lives, hasn't really been talked about. No one truly knows what it feels like unless they've experienced it themselves, and too many are slowly being able to relate.

I've created a video to represent the emotional trauma these high school students experienced that day.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
