There is one subject this time of year that gets on most of our nerves when opening any social media. But it has taught us something that must be addressed.

Politics is something that most people hate talking about. The controversial topics in politics cause many people to be uncomfortable. And those who do talk about these topics make them a battleground rather than a place for discussion. But the candidates are another story all together and they have taught America something.

This election has shown us more of something we have already known before this election even started. Money runs the world. Both candidates have scandals of their own (I'll keep my opinion to myself on this one) and there have been virtually no repercussions. Hillary has had her email scandal where she mishandled top secret information and lied about American soldiers being killed and is not even being investigated. While Donald Trump said some rather rude words towards women and has been accused of several accounts of sexual assault. Donald Trump even went so far as to say he is "smarter" than to pay income tax. How are people like these running for the President of the United States?

To make matters worse you have people digging in on both sides who refuse to admit any fault for their candidates. Both sides (for the most part) cannot have rational discussion when it comes to the controversial topics on politics I mention earlier. They would rather argue than to work together to solve these problems.

With both candidates doing as they please and all of their supporters having it out, there is only one thing we can do. We need to pray. God can turn around faster than any number of us ever could. Prayer is more powerful than anyone could ever imagine.
