As we grow up, we start to miss some of the easiest years of our lives.
Before we really enter adulthood we miss when everything was so simple
and our only concern throughout the day was what we were going to have
for snack. Being in elementary school included a lot of great memories, so
here are a few things that will make you want to go back in time.
1. Field Trips
Even though elementary field trips were nothing like Miss Frizzle's field trips, they were still the best part of any school year. Going on field trips meant that you got to sit with whoever you wanted and get a whole day out of school.2. Start Student
Being star student of the week meant that you got some special treatment all week long just because you were doing everything right in the class room.
3. Line Leaders
Being a line leader meant that you have the most responsibility in the classroom besides the teacher. You have to make sure everyone is in line for any time the class got to leave the classroom.
4. Celebrating Birthday's In Class
Celebrating your birthday in class meant that all attention was on you and you got to have whatever sweets you wanted.
5. Recess
Recess was the best time of day because you got to see everyone at the same time and you got to play all different games. Monkey bars, hop-scotch, swings, jump rope, tag, kickball, bubbles, handball and slides were some of the best games played during recess.
6. Chicken Nugget Day
Chicken nugget day was one of the best days to buy school lunch. You knew that every Wednesday was chicken nugget day and this meant that everyone at school would be buying lunch that day.
7. Field Day
Field day was the funnest day of the year! This meant that you got to play against other classes in events like tug-a-war, 3-legged race, and egg tosses for the award at the end of the day.8. Crafts
Thinking back to elementary school, you start to miss that doing crafts in class wouldn't be acceptable anymore unless you are in art class. Doing crafts in class meant that your parents would add another piece of artwork to their collection that they have started.
9. 100th Day Of School
Celebrating the 100th day of school meant that you got to make so many different crafts and activities that all had a 100 different things.
10. Reading buddies
Try to sit back and enjoy what memories you made while still being a child with no worries.
