Yes I admit it; I may drink a little too much coffee on a daily basis, but really how much is too much??
Coffee is really a magical liquid; it wakes you up in the morning, warms you up on cold days, is your mid-day pick me up, or helps you get through those long nights of cramming for exams.
I live for Starbucks runs. I must admit I became a gold member within a span of a month or two, and I live for those points and free drinks. Being in college, coffee is everywhere, on every street with multiple Starbucks stores on campus and of course Dunkin Donuts. I’m always walking around campus with a coffee in my hand.
Whether it’s cold brew, black coffee, a hot macchiato, extra espresso shots, and even occasionally a green tea (it has caffeine in it too!!), I’ll drink it and love it. Day to day I would have to say I drink three or four cups of coffee, some people may say it stunts your growth, it's bad for your teeth, blah blah blah, in my eyes it is wonderful and completely normal to drink as much coffee as you want/need.
The good thing about coffee is that you can literally drink it in any weather and any time of the day really. I drink so much coffee that if I go a day or two without it then my body has caffeine withdraws which just shows how guilty I am of my coffee consumption; still can’t tell if it’s a good or bad thing (probs not too good but yolo).
My guilty pleasure comes in many forms so it’s very hard to get tired of the taste (like that is even possible), but I know that eventually I’ll have to wean myself off of this delicious beverage because let's be real, doctors really don’t recommend three or four cups of coffee a day for perfect health. But in the meantime I plan to sit back, relax and enjoy my love for coffee.
