In case you haven't heard, the Villanova Men's Basketball Team just won their second NCAA National Championship in three years. As someone who has been a Villanova fan for their entire life, this is a HUGE deal.

Before starting my freshman year at Villanova, the team won its first National Championship since 1985 in dramatic fashion with a buzzer beater three point shot against University of North Carolina. While watching this accomplishment was one of the greatest days of my life and made me even more excited to be a Wildcat, I was a little sad that it happened during my senior year of high school and I wasn't there to experience it. I always figured I would never get my moment to celebrate a national title while I was a student at Villanova, which was a sad thought.

That was until April 2nd, 2018 when Villanova defeated University of Michigan to win the National Championship and now only was history made, but my dream had come true. I was at my dream school, watching a basketball team I have followed my entire life, win it all.

And let me tell you, the stories people told from the 2016 championship celebration were not over dramatic. What happened after the final buzzer lived up to all of the hype. I have never felt so much school pride all at once, as everyone stormed the Quad and Lancaster Ave to keep the party going.

Even though I thought the day we won the 2016 National Championship was the best day ever, I had no idea what was to come. That Monday night was by far the craziest time of my life and I wish I could relive it over and over again. I am so thankful that I was here to have my own moment to celebrate something that has meant so much to be throughout my entire life with some of my best friends by my side.

The official celebrations may be over, but I will never stop talking about and reliving the entire first week of April. This feeling of overwhelming pride and joy will never go away and I will carry this with me for the rest of my life. I will always be part of this little moment in school history and I don't think I will ever let anyone forget it. Now and forever, GO CATS!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
