It's not news that the Giants aren't doing too well this season. It's also not news that every NFC East team doesn't have a great record either. But, for some reason, Giants fans always get the most heat from other football fans. Maybe it's because we have one of the best receivers in the league, or that people just love to hate New York teams regardless of what sport is being played. Whatever the reason, football fans should give Giants fans a break, because we've had more than enough ups and downs this season.
So for those of you who don't know what it feels like to be a Giants fan, here you go.
How you feel talking about the Giants before a game.
How you feel when others are trash talking your team on social media before the game starts.
Watching Odell Beckham Jr.'s one handed catches during their pregame warm-up.
Trash talking the team you're playing (especially if it's the Eagles, Cowboys or Patriots).
Then seeing the other team score on basically their first possession.
Seeing someone you didn't know was a Giants fan tweet about how much they want the Giants to win.
And then seeing the other team score again.
Seeing that you're about 21 points behind the other team come halftime.
Going into the second half knowing you're a second half team.
Seeing Eli make some good plays.
Watching OBJ and Rashad Jennings do their thing.
Feeling that classic 4th quarter feeling where you think your comeback was successful and you're going to win the game.
Your face during the last two minutes of pretty much every game.
And how you feel after every game whether it's a win or a loss.
And there you have it. They may not always be number one on the field, but the New York Giants will always be number one in my heart.
