CYS:
If your favorite bar is Cys: you’re there for one of the following 3 reasons.
1) You just turned 21 and it's time for the infamous 21 mugs.
2) You know a bartender.
3) You’re clearly a jersey chaser and trying to get the attention of probably a basketball player. No judgment though, we’ve all tried it at one point or another in college.
MICKEYS:
If your favorite bar is Mickey’s: popcorn is your best friend. You may be a crowd follower, which is fine. Clearly your favorite holiday is St. Patty’s Day. Lastly, you will see a lot of guys here, probably for the shot girls. Beware of the downstairs.
AJS:
If your favorite bar is AJs: you’re an FAC regular. Think of this place as a high school dance or you’re a former swimmer and you miss the humidity. Must say, everyone seems to be a fan during warm weather. The outdoor patio is a blessing.
OUTLAWS:
I’m going to be honest, this is probably no ones favorite bar. You most likely grew up in a small town and think Iowa State is the best school in the nation- based entirely on their agriculture program. Can’t say I’ve ever been there, but you 100% need cowboy boots or you won't fit in. My guess is Chris Soules visited this bar back in his Cyclone days.
PADDYS:
If your favorite bar is Paddys: you’re clearly Greek. You want to go out and drink with your friends but you’re afraid of the dark. Try and walk all the way through without someone you know saying hi, it’s impossible. Lastly, never try and get in when you aren't 21. You will get denied, you will get it taken, and your night will be ending while your friends is starting.
SIPS:
If your favorite bar is SIPS: you peak on Wednesday nights. Also you’ve probably heard this conversation more than you can count: “Where’s SIPS?” “Isn’t that the place under Paddys?” “Oh yeah lets go there they have a special”.
ES TAS:
If your favorite bar is Es Tas: you like sports, alcohol, and your friends. Sunday isn’t for church; it’s for Bloodys and White Russians. If the parents are in town, you probably take them here for Campustown’s pride and joy: cheeseballs.
THE DISTRICT:
If your favorite bar is the District: you may think you are cooler than you actually are. Way classy. Long Islands and large booth seating are reasons enough to go there though. #b*tchesloveexposedbrick
