Super Bowl 50 surprised a lot of people this year. As for me, I was happy with the outcome. Sorry Panther fans but I've never been a Cam Newton fan -- it's probably the Crimson Tide blood in me. It's safe to say the game lacked serious excitement though. Other than an excessive amount of fumbles and a few sacks, I can't really say I was sitting on the edge of my seat. There were some moments, however, that were definitely memorable. Moments that I could relate to, especially while I'm in college. Moments that made me reflect on my time here in school. So, here is just a week of college as told by moments from Super Bowl 50.

Mondays aren't the best of days but at least there is hope that this week will go better than last. So you start the day feeling as confident as Betty White dabbing.

You pray that this week will go easy on you. Maybe, just maybe, a class will get cancelled and you'll have time to take a nap or, better yet just sit down.

You open your planner, however, to find that you not only have two midterms this week but also a paper and an in-class presentation. So while everyone seems to be getting along just fine with their lives, you can't even put on a smile.

And sometimes you just need to sit down and cry.

Then you stub your toe and it feels like this could possibly be the end for you.

As it turn out, though, you have your life more together than you think. You manage to kill the in-class presentation and you did fairly well on that mid-term. So by Wednesday, you're feeling pretty good.

You're only half way through the week, though. There is still a lot for you to get through. So you hold your head up high and try to keep yourself together just enough so no one notices you're hanging on by a thread.

You say to yourself, "Hey, it's Wednesday night. I deserve a break." So you and your squad roll in hot to the biggest parties of the night.

You wake up the next morning though and realize you've got class in 30 minutes. You decide you don't have time to shower even though your leftover makeup from last night looks like this...

...but it's time for the world to accept you as you are so you stroll into class feeling like this...

You still have one of those midterms and a paper to finish though. You're craving sleep and honestly just imagining how bad it would actually be if you just tossed everything to the wind and stopped caring about your future. Would your parents really care if you just threw in the towel?

Yes -- they would care a lot. So you pull yourself together for the remainder of the week and get through it as best as you can. Then you take the weekend to celebrate and blow off all of your responsibilities.

Until Sunday comes and you're on to the next week.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
