Top 5 Christmas Activities for Fun

Christmas is nearing and we are ready to hang up the mistletoe, hang up the stockings, cook lots of food for the family, and give presents to loved ones. Christmas is a wonderful time to spend with loved ones and to make more memories than the year before. For this Christmas, I have some fun ideas on how to have fun with the family and how to make this year's Christmas the absolute best yet.

One idea is "Kiss or Dance". The concept of the game is to hang up the mistletoe and gather everyone in groups of two. When everyone is paired up, the game can begin. When each group is called under the mistletoe, the pair must either kiss or dance. It is an ice breaker to start the lively party. This game has no limits and can be played as many times as pleased. Another idea is a Just Dance party with everyone. All you have to do is hook up the system and pop in a disc. Everyone can take turns dancing at least one time. Dancing is when you let everything go and enjoy the music. Hook that system up this Christmas and have a wonderful time with the family.

Another is the famous Secret Santa gift exchange. Prior to the party, everyone must draw a name from someone and they have to buy a gift for the person they picked. It doesn't have to be an expensive gift; anything will do for the holidays. It is a holiday favorite and everyone receives a little something to spread holiday cheer. Another idea is Game Day. Before everyone shows up to the party, remind them to bring a game of sorts. With everyone bringing games, there will many board games to choose from. It is another idea that will spread the laughter and the joy around the family.

One last idea is Christmas Caroling with the family. Everyone can go around the tree or even go around town and sing Christmas songs to the public, wherever will work. It is one way to spread joy and cheer not only for your family, but everyone else's families as well. Christmas is about cheer and happiness. Therefore it is ideal that we go around this Christmas and spread more joy and cheer everywhere we go. I hope these ideas will help your parties be a blast for you and your family. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! Happy Holidays!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
