It’s after spring break, and the end of the semester is so close yet so far. You just had a week off from school, to either relax or party (or both), and the idea of going back to normality is something you’re dreading way too much. We get it. We’ve been there; we’re living that now, too. When you count down the weeks until the semester ends, it seems like nothing, but the days just drag on and your sense of responsibility decreases by the hour. All you want to do now is fast forward to the summer holidays and finally have no sense of responsibility whatsoever (at least for a few days if you’re working in the summer). There’s no way to accurately describe the end of semester feelings, so let the Kardashians do the talking:
1. You’re excited to come back to school after spring break and see the friends you haven’t seen in so long (a week, but that feels like an eternity for college students).
2. You have your first midterm after spring break and obviously know almost nothing on it because that one week away has wiped your brain clean of anything remotely school-related, but you still need a high grade because of your GPA.
3. You slack off on going to the gym, and suddenly when Easter comes along chocolate is everything you see and makes up about 70 percent of your diet
4. Your friends and family start asking you about your summer job and you can’t begin to think about work, so you’re like:
5. Parties become more frequent, and events like St. Patty’s or Spring Fling take it to a whole other level.
6. You waste all your time and still don’t sleep enough, so throughout the day this is what you look like:
7. About two weeks before finals, your professor or TA asks if you have already started studying.
8. Reading Days arrive, and when you get together with your study group and they ask you questions you only have one answer:
9. Finals.
10. But then, after all this torture and what seems like an eternity, you’re done with the semester and ready for the three months of bliss that are ahead of you:
