Useful Tips to Avoid Car Collision/Accidents While Driving

Cutting ahead of people, changing lanes, and not using turn signals are just some of the ways to get involved in an accident. Failure to make a safe lane change can result in a car accident. If you drive past midnight, make sure you remain extra vigilant for reckless drivers. It may seem convenient, but when it is necessary to avoid runaway cars on the highway, the fast lane becomes more dangerous. The left lane attracts motorists traveling at higher speeds and causing more accidents.

Never assume that a driver will stop or turn because he is more concerned about road safety than you are. If you approach a sign, signal a sharp turn, or reduce the speed, it is said, you drive slowly to avoid a car accident.

If you are behind the wheel of the car, the question of whether a passenger is behind the wheel should be your number one concern. It is better to let other drivers drive in front of you than to end up in an accident that can be expensive and dangerous for you and others. If a crazy driver is standing behind your car honking his horn, you should let him pass.

A car accident also occurs when several vehicles approach an intersection without stopping at their respective stop signs. In a side-impact, vehicles collide to the right of the other driver, who does not stop. Side impact or collision of two cars is the most common type of traffic accident.

Stop at a stop sign and look out for other drivers and pedestrians. Drive slowly and carefully around the car in front of you while being stopped. If you follow too closely, you may overtake the vehicle in front.

It is important to keep an eye on the car in front of you so that you can scan the entire area while driving. You can limit the time you are in other drivers and semi-trucks blind spots. This is an effective way to ensure other drivers notice your car and are aware of it.

Even minor accidents can cost drivers, passengers, and pedestrians dearly. Accidents are not always fatal, but they can take their toll on drivers “mental health and lead to property damage and injury. It is easier to heal from physical injuries than mental ones. If you or a loved one has been in a dangerous accident, take time to move on.

If you have an accident, make sure that no one in the car is injured and head to a collision repairshop. If you are not harmed and it is a minor accident, park your car on the side of the road.

If you park your car in a parking lot or on the street, take steps to avoid collisions with parked cars and compensation claims. To avoid a collision with a car in front, pay attention to hazards such as brake lights and turn signals and keep a sufficient distance from the car behind so you have enough space to stop. Never accelerate through an intersection because this reduces your ability to drive safely and consider other cars.

You never know when another driver will hit the brakes, turn or hit something. Even if the driver stops next to you, it only takes a second or less for him not to pay attention and steer his vehicle backward.

You can minimize car accidents by maintaining a constant speed and keeping a safe distance between your vehicle and other vehicles, and if you do have one visit an auto mechanic shop immediately. By reducing the speed of your car, you give yourself and other drivers more time to react to unexpected situations while driving. You have less reaction time to avoid rollover collisions when driving a car at high speed.

If you see a pothole in your car, you can avoid the accident by making sure your tires do not go into it. Some drivers run the risk of losing control of their car or bursting a tire when driving into potholes. Last but not the least, always keep your eyes and ears open when you are driving and pay full attention. Concentrate on the road to avoid accidents and injury.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
