No one wants to just go through 'the best four or five years of their life' only concerned about school. None of us want to be the person who looks back on their college experience and realize that they didn't live it to the fullest. I constantly worry about this, so I've decided to construct the ultimate bucket list for myself and all of you.
1. Live on campus.
You'll live on a floor with 20+ other people. That means you have the opportunity for 20+ new friends.
2. Live in an apartment.
Get a few of your best friends and get your first apartment together. It might not be the most spacious option but you guys can make it work.
3. Live in a house.
Who doesn't want to live in a house? Get one with an awesome location right between campus and the bars so when you are 21 the walk to the bars doesn't kill you.
4. Go out.
Get crazy with your friends. Something interesting is bound to happen.
5. Go out sober.
Honestly this may even be more fun than being drunk. Everyone else has been drinking so they are going wild so it's perfectly fine if you break out of your shell a little bit.
6. Dance all night.
I want you to wake up the next morning sore from dropping it low the night before.
7. Go on random adventures with your friends.
Some of the best memories you make will be spontaneous adventures with your friends.
8. Make a new friend.
Honestly the more people you meet throughout the years the better. You end up getting to know some really awesome people and after you graduate, you'll have a good network.
9. Go party at a different school.
We all have our friends from high school who we miss causing trouble with, so why not go visit them and see how their college life is?
10. Flirt with someone you think is cute.
What do you have to lose? You never know...maybe they'll flirt back.
11. Join a club.
You'll meet people who have the same interests as you and joining a club fills up your schedule. No more locking yourself in your room for days on end.
12. Pull an all-nighter.
I don't mean a "cram for this exam all-nighter". I mean get all of your friends together and hang out all night. You'll for sure have an awesome time and make a bunch of memories.
13. Go on a road trip.
This is your time to see the country because pretty soon you'll have a full time job and won't have the time for it.
14. Get your degree.
While having all of this fun, you do still need to focus on your school work. Make sure you manage your time well, get good grades and actually learn something, because you'll need this stuff in the real world.
