Halloween is this Saturday! Are you ready? Decorations and costumes and everything? Cool. Music is a big part of setting that spooky Halloween mood. So here is a list of some spooky songs.
1. Luigi's Mansion theme
I remember playing this on my Gamecube, and the music never failed to surround me with an eerie feeling as if I was in that haunted mansion myself.
2. Any of the soundtracks from Tim Burton movies
From "Nightmare Before Christmas," "Corpse Bride," "Frankenweenie," and others, Danny Elfman's creepy, quirky music style is sure to give you the creeps.
3. Music from the creepier "Zelda" games
Especially "Majora's Mask" and "Twilight Princess" and the shadow temple from "Ocarina of Time." Sometimes I think the "Song of Storms" sounds a bit creepy, but that song is good all year round (no pun intended). Theophany's "Time's End" is a beautiful and creepy re-orchestrated rendition of the eerie music in "Majora's Mask," perfect to satisfy that need for a spooky atmosphere.
4. The "Teletubbies" theme song reversed
Just demons, that's all I can think of. With their solid black eyes and all. It's so messed up. *Spooky tip: It's scarier without reading the lyrics*
5. And how could I not include "Spooky Scary Skeletons"
It's #2spooky4me and probably for you too. What makes it even spookier is that there is a spooky skeleton inside all of us! Ahhh!
6. "Insidious" music
These movies are terrifying, and that chaotic and nerve-wrenching violin music really adds to the frightening effect. Without the music, these movies wouldn't be nearly as terrifying.
And don't forget that creepy "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" scene! Oooooh that messed me up bad.
I hope this music makes you have trouble sleeping tonight. And have a super spooky Halloween! And don't die, please and thank you.
