Music is the greatest invention the human race has ever created and Spotify is the greatest website the internet ever launched.
Since the release of Spotify, I have listened to thousands of playlists Spotify has to offer and have finally narrowed my favorites. Here are my top five favorite playlists.
Confidence Boost
Everyone needs a little encouragement once in a while and who can pep you the most than Beyonce, M.I.A, Becky G. and Adele. This playlist incorportaes oldies with a twist of modern pop. The song choices generally revolve around the idea of "You got this" and "You do you". If you want a little energy when walking from class to class, give this one a try. You might be impressed.
Good Vibes
If you want to listen to chill jams, this is your playlist. The laid-back covers and beats give you an easy feeling. If you like Vance Joy, The Weekend, Justin Bieber and The Chainsmokers, this is your go-to. The beats flow from song to song and incorporate old favorites like "Pumped up Kicks" to give you a rushing cool feeling. Laying in bed at night, tune into this one. Good vibes all around, right?
Your Favorite Coffee House
If you like soft, R&B tunes that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, this one might be for you. It's almost like Starbucks meets thanksgiving time with a pinch of summer weather. Weird? Maybe, but's what makes it super addicting. Lots of guitar sounds and warm feelings flow within this playlist. So, if you're studying or drinking a hot beverage, get this one on asap. You won't regret it.
Breakup Songs
There is no feeling worse than feeling alone and unwanted. We all get our hearts broken sometimes. This playlist is the comfort that you'll seek. No one wants to be told "it'll be okay". We want someone to just hug us and grieve for a little while. The Script, Rihanna and John Mayer know how you feel. Give them a try next time some idiot breaks your heart.
Covers |The Ballards
If you like covers of songs, this one is jam-packed. Filled with soft tunes and piano instrumentation, this playlist gives others a run for their money. Next time you wanna have a slow-jam session, try this out.
