Throughout the 2000's, funny cat pictures have been everywhere on the Internet. It's taken some time, but we have recently entered a new age of funny Internet pictures. Cats are out and dogs are in. The world of dogs can be confusing, so let me guide you with this list of the top 10 cutest dogs I could think of.
1. Shetland Sheep Dog
The Shetland Seep Dog, or "Sheltie" is a fairly short dog with a long flowing coat. The Sheltie was bred as a herding dog and needs to run all the time.With a face that cute you won't mind the extra work.
2. Affenpinscher
The Affenpinscher is a very small dog with an even smaller face. Often called the monkey terrier, this dog requires little exercise but lot of play. Plus the Affenpinscher is hypoallergenic, so anybody can pet this puppy.
3. Beagle
The beagle has a famously cute spotted pattern. Beagles are incredibly smart and very docile. You'll never meet a more gentle dog.
4. Shiba Inu
The Shiba Inu has cute little eyes and a puffy tail. This guy's a little cutie but be careful; they don't make great pets. Unfortunately, this dog is a little bit of trouble and isn't good with kids at all. They like to bite and fight a lot, but he stays on the list for being one of the first in this new wave of dog pictures with the famous doge meme.
5. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has a great coat and adorable eyes. This dog is small, playful and incredibly social. This is the kind of dog you could play with for hours.
6. Pomeranian
The Pomeranian has a funny little face and a huge puffy coat. This dog is basically just a puffy chicken nugget. This dog loves to play and meet people but is also very smart. Pomeranian's love to please so they make great family dogs.
7. German Spitz
The German Spitz has the cutest little face of any dog. Small eyes, long nose and big ears make this dog completely fantastic. Couple that with their puffy coats and tiny tails and you've got a real champ. These dogs are easily trainable and very lively. They make great companions.
8. Pug
The Pug is the classic cute dog. They have tiny bodies, big heads, ruffled skin, huge eyes and a signature coat. The pug encompasses everything that's cute about dogs. There's even a famous pug named Doug who's famous just for being cute and having a rhyming name.
9. West Highland White Terrier
The West Highland White Terrier, or Westie, is a small white dog that has a coat with a lot of personality. It's stringy and hard, but still so damn cute. These guys can be really loud, but are still super friendly. Their stubby little legs look so cute when they run, and they're active little dogs so they'll do that a lot.
10. Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Corgis are probably the greatest dogs ever. They're short and long, and have butts that look like loaves of bread. They're super high energy but incredibly friendly. I've never met anybody who doesn't like corgi's. They're small, they waddle and they're absolutely adorable. Top tier; enough said.
