After only 18 years of living on this planet, I have started turning my regrets to life lessons. Rather than beating myself up for letting certain things happen, having people in my life, and not taking the initiative to better myself, I have found the beauty in those moments. Finding the beauty in hardship is one of the most challenging things you can do emotionally. However, if you are able to learn from giving up and allowing people/circumstances in your life, you can become resilient.
Life is difficult and it will never get easy, there will always be a hurdle to jump over.
See the hurdle, acknowledge the hurdle, and jump over it.
Embrace the moments of tears on your pillow and the moments of where you leap for joy. Remember, when you are on top of the world: stay humble, and when you are in a hole: stay hopeful.
The beauty in life is that every day has it's own challenges and struggles. Once we leave our beds, we embark on those very things that push us to become the person we are destined to be. From the constant battle of heading to gym on a daily basis to trusting someone again, do not hold back. Remember whatever happens there is a reason, you may not be able to find that reason immediately, but know one day the reason will smack you in the face. Life, all though it is full of challenges, hold's so many lessons. Some lessons are meant for you; some lessons are meant for those around you.
We rise and we fall, but remember getting back up from the fall is where true courage and strength lies. Do not let yourself succumb to your own fears, because that is when life starts. So fellas, if there is a girl you want, go after her; ladies, do not be afraid to let another guy in your life. If we clench our fears, we are left with regrets. Regrets are nothing but a whirling cyclone of thoughts that can bring you to your knees.
