We went into college totally blind and alone. However, somehow we all managed to come together and decide that living together would be a new and exciting thing.
We all became friends in different ways, whether that’s from dropping bright red lipstick on each other’s carpet, hating the same boys, dating friends and bonding over vodka, somehow we came together. To me, that's pretty cool.
It’s hard for me to imagine how different my college years would have been without you guys. Would I be friends with some of the people I am friends with? Would I like the same drinks I like? Would I enjoy doing the same things I now like to do? I’ve thought about it and I think the answer to all of those things is: Probably not.
It’s so insane to think about how meeting just one person can flip your life around and change you for the better. I was lucky enough to meet and become friends with you guys and that is something I know I’ll cherish forever.
You ladies are so incredibly important to me! You’re there for me when school is tough. There for me when boys are dumb. And there for me when I need someone to celebrate the little things with, like putting on pants or making it to class on time.
So thank you, girls!
Thank you for listening to me complain about homework and for pretending to like things I make even if they taste a little funky. Thank you for not judging the chaos that is my bedroom. Thank you for listening to me ramble on about boys and work. Thank you for forcing me to go study at the library with you. Thank you for bringing water bottles to the library with me. Thank you for taking care of me when I'm sick. Thank you for always being down for coffee, movies, food, ice cream and wine. Thank you for dancing around the house with me to Disney music. But most of all thank you for being such incredible women. You guys have taught me so much in the few short years we've known each other and for that I am forever grateful. I love you guys!
