Although the Lorelai Gilmore's of Stars Hollow only "enjoy certain aspects of various sporting endeavors," their relatability even extends to the feelings surrounding an intense team rivalry. Whether your favorite sport is football, soccer, or ultimate frisbee, we all have that rival team that boils our blood. So this might be how you feel when your team plays their rival, as told by the wonderful characters of "Gilmore Girls."

You're a wreck before the game starts.

You're a little nervous because these games are always intense.

You see the other team and all those ugly memories come back.

This game is giving you way more anxiety than it should.

And you are more than happy to trash talk them with your fellow fans.

Sometimes you just feel better when other people join in on the smack talk.

Your rival makes the first score of the game.

This somehow seems like an omen and now you're worried.

Your team finally scores.

After the first score, the rest are easy, right?

But then one of your players gets hurt.

At this point, you are ready to jump through your TV screen and fight somebody.

It looks like you might lose the game and everyone starts to lose faith.

You believe in your team! You guys can totally catch up!

One of your players gets penalized for being a bit too aggressive.

Just when you were looking like the classy team...

The game is tied with only 10 seconds left.

It doesn't matter who wins. It's just a game, right? WRONG!

Your team wins after what seems like the longest game ever.

You're kind of sad the anticipation and excitement is over... But no other victory has ever tasted so sweet!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
