One of the coolest things about being in a sorority is the bond you already share with thousands of other women you have never even met. For the sisters of Delta Delta Delta, there are a couple of things that will never fail to put a smile on her face, no matter where in the world you may find her.
Anything triangularly shaped
Cerulean Blue
It's not just a normal blue, okay? There is nothing more exciting than going shopping for crating supplies and discovering they actually have paint in our true shade of blue.
Sarah Ida Shaw
The legacy of Sarah Ida Shaw is everything. She created a sisterhood based on character and values for woman to support one another and form lifelong bonds of friendship. She did it at a time when she saw a need for an organization formed around something with a deeper meaning. Tri Delta still stays true today to the ideals that Sarah Ida Shaw had when she founded it, bringing together women of every different background but who value the same qualities of friendship and leadership that she did.
The dolphin emoji
We definitely have one of the cutest symbols of them all and have all used the emoji in at least half of our picture captions relating to Tri Delta because the world needs to see it.
St. Jude
If you ask any member of Tri Delta what their favorite thing about their organization is, nine times out of ten they will say their philanthropy: childhood cancer research partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Whenever anyone asks me about Tri Delta and what our philanthropy, I genuinely get so excited to talk about St. Jude, as do the rest of my sisters. There is nothing that makes a Tri Delt happier than knowing the hours and hours of work she is putting in are going toward helping children celebrate more birthdays. It's safe to say that we are beyond passionate about our philanthropy and all of the lives we are changing, and nothing makes a Tri Delta girl happier than that.
