I love fall, yes I do!

The Ultimate Fall Bucket List

I love the fall, don't you? It's that time of year when the temperatures start to drop and the leaves start to change color. It means winter is approaching which then means it's ski season. I loved experiencing the fall in the Granite State for so many reasons. Whether you're a UNH student, visitor, or a local, here are some things I would highly suggest trying this fall.

1. Go apple picking.

Windy Ridge in Haverhill, New Hampshire is my absolute favorite place to go. They have the best apple cider donuts and the most breathtaking views.

2. Decorate your house / apartment / dorm!

Get festive, put out some pumpkins, spice up your living!

3. Check out the fall foliage.

Take a drive through the Notch in the White Mountains and look at the beautiful color of the changing leaves.

4. Get creative in the kitchen.

Bake a pumpkin or apple pie, or even pumpkin bread. Make homemade pumpkin soup... yum!

5. Bundle up in your favorite fall outfit.

Over the knee boots, cozy sweater, and an oversized scarf.

6. Visit a haunted house.

There are so many haunted houses and hayrides in New Hampshire... Haunted Acres, Nightmare New England, Fright Fest at Gunstock Mountain. Perfect time to snuggle up with your cutie or a BFF.

7. Get lost in a corn maze.

Who doesn't love a mystery? Corn mazes are a fun way to get lost for a little. Coppal House Farm and Zach's Corn Maze are local and easy to get lost in.

8. Sip on hot apple cider.

Spiked or not... you can decide.

9. Watch a scary movie.

Cuddle up next to your honey.

10. Go on a hayride.

Nothing says "New England" more than tractors.

11. Toast pumpkin seeds.

Perfect to snack on.

12. Buy a pumpkin.

Decorate it, carve it, eat it.

13. Go trick-or-treating.

Bring out your inner child, dress up, and binge on candy.

14. Make caramel apples.

What's better than apples and caramel?

15. Go to Homecoming.

It's like one big party all weekend, woot woot!

16. Visit the local fair.

Sandwich Fair in Sandwich, NH will forever be my favorite. From rides to the fried pickles and Oreos and to the animals, there is something for everyone.

17. Go to the football games and tailgates.

Football boys and beer, what more could a girl ask for?

18. Dress up for "Halloweek".

In college Halloween isn't just one night... it's a whole week. Time to get creative with your costumes.

19. Watch Halloween Town.

Because that's everyones favorite Disney movie.

20. Jump through a pile of leaves.

Rake them up then jump in them and then rake them back up again.

21. Make s'mores.

S'mores you can make year round but there is nothing like sitting around a bonfire with the crisp air surrounding you.

22. Go to the farmers market.

Shop local.

23. Find your favorite fall candle.

Currently, I'm obsessed with Honey Pumpkin.

24. Eat kettle corn.

Sweet and salty popcorn, delicious!

25. Go Black Friday shopping.

Wake up at the crack of dawn to go get those things you really wanted.

26. Go on a nature walk.

Take in nature's beauty.

27. Write down what you're thankful for.

Thanksgiving is also in the fall. Write a list of 5 things everyday that you're thankful for.

28. Spend time with loved ones.

Let them know you care.

29. Spend Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Stuff your face with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn pudding, and all the wine your heart desires.

30. Watch the Macy's Day Parade.

What's Thanksgiving without the Macy's Day Parade in NYC? Also, can't forget to watch the Thanksgiving Day Football game.

31. Drink all the pumpkin spice coffee you want.

Drink it up, because it's only at Dunkin' Donuts for a short time!

Happy Fall everyone!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
