We all know sports are known to be competitive, for tension between players, and for rivalry between teams, but it's different for fans in the stands or ones watching the game on television. Fans are passionate about their team and support them through good and bad times and create tension between friends to show their team is better. This is in every sport, like: soccer (best sport by the way), football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, rugby, etc. I know this, because I love soccer and I strongly support Barcelona and Argentina and USA when they play. I guess you can say I'm one of those fans and this is my present and I hardly play soccer now, unlike in my past, I played daily, but I still find it as my passion.
I started playing soccer when I was two years old, and I've never stopped playing because it's something I love to do, even though I'm not good at it. Throughout my childhood, I played on numerous teams and I always tried to win every game, but "you can't win them all" says Nacho Libre. For my entire life, my father has been a coach for my brothers and I. He's been supportive and worked a lot with us and thanks to his coaching and training, we've gotten better. The last four years playing competitive soccer was in high school where I played for James E. Taylor as a center attacking midfielder. I have so many treasured memories through those four years, i.e. where I scored my first goal (and it was phenomenal), then giving an amazing assist for goal against Memorial during districts in Varsity. Next, receiving news we qualified for playoffs after eight years. Finally, one dreadful memory was when we were eliminated from playoffs on the third round - all my friends were torn and sad that our time playing under the lights on the soccer field was at an end.

When you are the oldest of four brothers, they look up to you and that makes me a trainer and example to them, to make them better because you want the best for them. After finishing high school, I began to give advice to two of my brothers because they were near approaching high school and both wanted to play varsity. Now this coming year, Michael (17 years old) is a junior and playing for Varsity as a forward and Jason (15 years old) is a freshman and playing for Junior Varsity A. I feel proud because I know they are very talented and can play very well and are capable to compete and be very successful soccer players. Now, I just play when I can and will always love playing, but most of the time I just watch soccer and continue supporting my favorite teams. In college, I compete in the recreational sports tournament for Indoor and Outdoor soccer and I enjoy my time there because it's the only time I can still love playing the game and feel the adrenaline.
