*WARNING: POLITICAL POST*

As of now, it's looking as though Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee for the 2016 presidential election. With Trump having all but secured the spot as the Republican nominee, it's becoming apparent that what many voters have claimed would be their "worst nightmare" is becoming a reality. Yes, we are looking at a Clinton vs. Trump election. Cue the apocalypse.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I myself am not a strong supporter of Hillary's. I find her to be a bit fake and do not agree with the amount of time she has spent tearing down her opponents rather than focusing on the issues. All that being said, while I'm not exactly Team Hillary, I'm very anti-Trump. If there's one person in the world that we do not need running our country in this day and age, it's a pompous, rich, sexist, racist, self-absorbed ass hat like Donald Trump.

The terrifying trend that I've noticed since it became clear that Hillary would most likely be the Democratic nominee over Bernie Sanders is voters either insisting that they will not vote or will vote for Trump because they believe him to be "the lesser of two evils".

Which brings me to my point. Check out the evidence below, including actual written and verbal statements made by the candidates about certain issues and then you tell me who is the lesser of two evils.

Women's rights:

Trump:

-"26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?" -Donald Trump (Twitter) *Also please note that this "genius" spelled the word "assaults" wrong.*

-“There has to be some form of punishment.” -Donald Trump on women who have abortions (MSNBC interview)

Also here's a fun thing he said (and later deleted) about Hillary: "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?" -Donald Trump (Twitter)

Hillary:

-"Too often, these are called women’s issues. Well, I am a proud lifelong fighter for women’s issues, because I firmly believe what’s good for women is good for America. … As far as I’m concerned, any issue that affects women’s lives and futures is a women’s issue.” -Hillary Clinton on reproductive rights, pay gap, and affordable family leave for women (September 5, 2015)

Racism:

Trump:

-“Maybe [the protester] should have been roughed up. It was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.”- Donald Trump after a Black Lives Matter protester was attacked at his rally in Alabama back in November.

-"I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate.” -Donald Trump after some of his supporters beat up a homeless Latino man because they believed so strongly in Trump's anti-immigrant statements.

This barely scrapes the top of some of racist remarks Trump has made and the fact that he condones violence is deeply disturbing.

Hillary:

-"Race remains a deep fault line in America. Millions of people of color still experience racism in their everyday lives…. More than a half century after Dr. King marched and Rosa Parks sat and John Lewis bled, after the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act and so much else, how can any of these things be true? But they are." -Hillary Clinton

-"And our problem is not all kooks and Klansman. It’s also in the cruel joke that goes unchallenged. It’s in the off-hand comments about not wanting ‘those people’ in the neighborhood." -Hillary Clinton

Terrorism:

Trump:

-"And the other thing is with the terrorists, you have to take out their families. They, they care about their lives. Don’t kid yourself. But they say they don’t care about their lives. You have to take out their families." -Donald Trump in an interview when asked about how he would handle ISIS. *Please note that intentionally murdering innocent civilians to make a point to terrorist organizations is considered a heinous war crime.*

Hillary:

-"The most important job of the president is to keep Americans safe. That means standing up to aggressors around the world and defeating global terrorism by depriving ISIS of physical and virtual territory. I’ll dismantle the global terror networks that supply terrorists and toughen our defenses at home—against both external and homegrown threats." -Hillary Clinton

I could make a list that could go on for days about why Hillary Clinton, flawed as she is, would make a million times better president than Donald Trump, but I won't because I believe that anyone with any knowledge of politics (and a brain) will be able to figure that out for themselves. However, if you're a voter who is trying to decide who is "the lesser of two evils" or you're considering not voting at all, look at the hard evidence that I've laid out for you above. Who is more intelligent? Who is more professional and presidential? Who will be able to lead our country WITHOUT causing every other nation to turn their backs on us? Who has better moral values?

I get why so many people are intrigued by Trump. For as long as anyone can remember, politicians have been talking over the people's heads, manipulating us into going along with agendas that so often only benefit them. The thought of having a president who isn't a politician and who will connect more honestly with the people is attractive. BUT do you really think that Donald Trump of all people is the man for the job? Donald Trump who inherited his fortune and has only put out crappy books and backed numerous projects that ultimately failed causing him to duck out with his money and leave his employees to fend for themselves? If he bankrupts our country, he may just do the same-- hop on a jet to a private island with his models and his money and leave all of us to rot.

So I urge you to vote and vote using common sense. We will either sink or swim after this upcoming election and I think it's quite obvious which candidate is more likely to run our country into the ground.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
