You may feel like you try your hardest and you still aren't enough. But girl, I have news for you. And it may sound cliché, but I promise you this: You are enough. You do not need to surround yourself with people who make you feel like you are anything less than "enough". I know the kind of girl you are. You're afraid that you will always be too much or too little of something, and you will never be the perfect fit for friendships, relationships, or just a place in this world. But I want you to know that if you are surrounded by people who make you feel this is true, then you are not surrounded by the right people. You are a perfect version of yourself, and no one can be like you.

There will always be something that makes you feel like you aren't enough. There will always be something you will try to change about yourself because that's how we've been brought up as a society. However, the important thing is to not let these things hold you back. It's normal to feel like that sometimes because we are our own worst critic. But you also need to be able to see all the wonderful traits you have in you. You are beautiful and funny. You are strong and smart and have a heart of gold. And more than anything else, you are independent. You don't need someone else to dictate your lifestyle for you. You do it perfectly on your own. You make good choices, and you will learn how to distinguish good from bad along the way. We're all too young to be feeling so down and out. we're too young to be feeling like what we do isn't enough.

Pressure from friends to be the same, pressure from parents and family to be more successful, pressure from significant others to be more of what they want. These are all factors that shouldn't run our lives. The only thing that should run the course of your life is knowing that you have the power to change and design you own destiny, and that the only person that needs to be happy with how we do it is you. You have to live with yourself the longest, and you need to be able to stand how you've managed when the going gets tough. Unfortunately, I can't promise that life will always be rainbows and smiles, but I can promise that if you are sure of yourself, and make yourself aware that you are ALWAYS enough, you will start to feel that way too. Thinking this way will give you a confidence boost you may not have known you needed, and it will make you a stronger person.

So make more time to love yourself. make more time to get comfortable with the person you are. Not the one you are when you're surrounded by tons of people, or the one you are when people talk about you. Be proud to be the you that you truly are deep in your heart. This can be a challenge, but you have to wake up every day and not be so hard on yourself. Eventually, we all learn that we don't need to rely on anyone else's opinions to determine how we live our lives. We learn to put our necklaces on by ourselves and zip our own dresses, because, at the end of the day, you need to be able to be there for yourself the most. You are you on your own, and you don't need anyone else to define or rescue you. Even if it means doing more for yourself and finding the love in your heart to love yourself as much as you love everyone around you. When you love yourself and tell yourself that you are enough, you will begin to unlock the key to conquering your world.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
