The End Of The Semester As Told by Disney Characters

I'm going to need some faith, trust and pixie dust to get through this one.

There's nothing like the end of the semester that makes college students want only to lock themselves in their room with their best friends and revisit some of their favorite Disney movies both new and old. Luckily, these characters know how to portray the last few weeks before summer break in a way that every student can relate to.

1 Telling a well-organized friend about a shortcut you made on a major assignment.

It probably only took you like, what, 10, 11 seconds max.

2. What your parents do after the inevitable call explaining to them about all of the exams and final projects you have due.

There's no one who will have faith in you more than them!

3. When you're surrounded by pizza and empty coffee cups because you don't have the time or mental capacity to eat healthy while you're getting all of your work done.

Nothing allows procrastination quite like a midnight snack and coffee run!

4. The morning you decide to get up extra early to get some extra studying in.

And then another ten, just to be sure I'm rested enough to concentrate.

5. Realizing that most of the things you studied aren't on the test and you're left to guess every question that you don't know.

It's somehow all three of these faces in one.

6. When your friends know you're a master of procrastination and they're waiting for you to pull out some type of miracle that usually involves getting a collective eight hours of sleep a week.

Because something like that makes you truly incredible.

7. The farewell your friends give you when they're done with their finals before you.

We're all jealous when that happens.

8. The scolding you give yourself when you know you should be studying, but you choose to procrastinate some more.

It's a pretty big deal.

9. That moment when you sit down and prepare yourself for the inevitable all-nighter.

The determined attitude will be short lived.

10. Trying to wrap up a paper after working on it for eight hours straight.

It made sense at the time.

11. The desperate attempt to fill up that final page when you have no idea what else to write.

The conclusion is just meant to wrap everything up, right?

12. When you finally get in full-on homework mode because failing out of school isn't an option.

You're not kidding around.

13. Rewarding yourself with an unhealthy mid-study snack when your study buddy warns you that it's probably not a good idea to eat this late at night.

Who would, though?

14. Triumphantly handing in the final assignment or walking out of your last exam.

There's no better feeling.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
