It's finally a new year and this upcoming month of January in 2017 is going to be great for so many reasons. One being a new season of The Bachelor starting on January 2nd on ABC. The bachelor premiering on this seasons show will be Nick Viall, a 36-year-old software salesman from Milwaukee Wisconsin. This will be poor Nick's fourth chance at proposing after being turned down by other bachelorettes in past seasons. But fourth time could be the charm right? Especially since he has 30 lucky ladies waiting to impress Nick with their beauty and charm.

Here are the 30 contestants to look for on January 2nd who might win Nick's heart...or might turn out to be crazies:

Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
