This list is in no particular order.
1. Parks and Recreation
Parks, in my opinion, is the best show to ever be on television. It's 7th season just finished airing on NBC and will soon join the other 6 seasons on Netflix. You know how sometimes you have to take a break from binge watching a show because you get a little bored or need to switch gears? This never, EVER happens to me while watching Parks. I think I've seen every episode at least 10 times. It's witty, upbeat, and has made me laugh out loud more than any other show. Amy Poehler is a genius.
2. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
If you're at all into the Marvel universe of superheroes this show is AMAZING. Phil Coulson is one of the main characters who assembles a badass squad to handle all supernatural problems in the world. There are guest appearances from Director Fury, Agent Hill, and Sif (from Thor). You learn so much more about the Marvel universe and it's action packed. This show is a huge win and even though there are only 2 seasons out right now, you will not be disappointed.
3. The Office
I mean...this obviously had to be on the list. The Office is gold. Pure comedy gold. It's perfect for binge watching because there are 9 seasons and all the episodes are only 20 minutes long so you never get bored. From Jim and Pam to Dwight and Angela (and Andy) to Michael and the chair model, the characters in The Office will give you life. Even if you've already seen The Office when it aired on NBC, it's still an awesome show to binge watch.
4. Once Upon A Time
Okay, the acting in this show is kind of lame, I know, but I still love all the fairy tale recreations. I binge watched this show the entire 10 days after I got my wisdom teeth out and it kept me really entertained. Who doesn't love disney fairy tales being recreated with real people? Honestly. It's a great guilty pleasure show.
5. Friday Night Lights
Tim Freaking Riggins. Do people need any other reason to watch this show? If you do, Coach Taylor is amazing. His wife is amazing. the story lines are amazing. And the football is AMAZING. FNL will make you long for simpler times and nostalgic for high school football.
6. 30 Rock
I have no idea why more people didn't watch this show when it was on because it is fantastic. The jokes are quick and Liz Lemon is so relatable. The guest stars on this show are awesome too (Jon Hamm, Matt Damon, James Marsden, Elizabeth Banks) and Alec Baldwin has some of the best comedic lines I've ever heard.
7. Scandal
I could not stop watching this show once I started. I think I watched the first 3 seasons in 2 weeks. The fast paced drama in this show will keep you entertained for hours and the Olivia-Fitz-Jake love triangle will have you SO CONFUSED about what you want for all of them. There are so many twists in this show you won't even know what to do with yourself.
8. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Tina Fey created this show and it stars the hilarious and quirky Ellie Kemper from The Office and Bridesmaids.This show has only 13 episodes right now and it's already nominated for an Emmy. It's all about a young woman who was kept in an underground cult and is released into New York City. All of her references are from the 90's and she doesn't even know what an iPhone is. It's hysterical.
9. The Vampire Diaries
I don't care what anyone thinks,this show rocks. It's nothing like Twilight and there's a ton of action and great music. Plus every single person in this show is GORGEOUS. If that doesn't make it fun enough to watch for you then people are having their throats ripped out left and right and there's more supernatural elements in this show than you can even wrap your head around.
10. Orange is the New Black
Set aside your prejudices and watch this show, you will be hooked. Watch at least 3 episodes and I promise you will not be disappointed. It's funny, heartwarming, exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time. You will fall in love with the inmates in this show and it finally answers some questions about what a women's prison might be like.
I know I probably left some of your favorite shows out. These are just my top 10 favorites that I would recommend to people because they are awesome and I want other people to experience their awesomeness.
