The Beauty Of Fall, Told By A Southern Belle

Autumn isn't just the turning of leaves and the change of the crisp, cold air on your cheeks. It's the excitement of Friday Night Lights and the kick off of college football Saturdays. Its the hustle and bustle of school beginning again. It's the love of pumpkin spice and the of aroma of everything cinnamon and spice. Here's just a few highlights of the greatest season of all!

1. A new year means a new dorm room!

While moving into a college dorm room can be exhausting, fall means different decor for a completely fresh start to the school year.

2. Pumpkin spice everything!

Be sure to sport your leather riding boots and knitted beanie before waltzing into Starbucks with your Mac book Air.

3. Friday Night Lights are a small town tradition.

Football is a religion down here in the south, and the players are treated like local celebrities. From the cheer team to the school song played by the marching band, the entire town comes out to watch their idols under the Friday Night Lights.

4. Fall creates the joyful memories of a weekend trip to the pumpkin patch.

There's nothing more rewarding than searching for the perfect little pumpkin to take home and carve.

5. Friday Night Football might be a tradition, but College Football Saturdays are a religion!

From the pregame show, to the halftime highlights, college football is a must in the fall. Just know that buy weeks are for weddings, and Saturday mornings are spent pacing the living room floor until that first kick-off signals the start of another historical year in the life of sports.

Fall is filled with pumpkins, candy corn and the warmth of weekend bonfires. There's just something about the turning of leaves and the chill in the air that makes this season the most wonderful time of the year.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
