A is for Ay Ziggy Zoomba
Probably something that you will never ~fully~ remember how to do, or know all the words too, but still iconic nonetheless.
B is for Birds

Freddie and Frieda Falcon are two of the greatest things to ever strut around campus. Whether they are being their wacky, bubble-gum throwing selves, or just taking photos with students in the Union, they set the tone wherever they are. Always stop to take a picture with them, and never forget how much they love you.
C is for CampusFest
Literally one of the greatest (but also most stressful) events of the entire year. Student organizations, local vendors, athletic teams, and more set up tables throughout ALL of campus at the beginning of each year to let people know what they are all about, and recruit newcomers. If nothing else, at least grab all the free pens, t-shirts, stickers, and pins.
PS- budget extra time to get to class that day
D is for Dairy Queen

DQ calories don't count, and they will give you double the ice cream that any other Dairy Queen in America would ever give you (not fact checked, just an assumption). Plus, passing that billboard that says "DQ loves BGSU" will never get old.
E is for Easystreet Cafe
A staple to downtown Bowling Green, and a favorite among locals or "townies," if you will. Honestly, it is worth checkin out at least once, especially if your family is coming to visit you and you need somewhere quick to eat.
F is for Falcon

This one is a bit obvious, but being a student at BGSU means being a falcon. Just remember: Once a Falcon, Always a Falcon.
G is for Grounds for Thought

Grounds for Thought, another downtown treasure, is one of many places that you can go if you're looking to get off campus for a bit. A place where townies and college students can come together and enjoy themselves. Whether you're going to do homework, take an online exam, grab a latte, eat some delicious baked goods, play chess, or even just hang out with friends, you will be welcomed with a smile.
H is for Homecoming

Around the same time every year, BGSU Homecoming rolls around and everyone is happy. Homecoming is a time when Alumni from all years return to campus to visit their alma mater, and tailgate before the football game. People come from all over to come back to a place they once called home, and it is a time when you realize how special of a place BGSU really is.
I is for Ice Arena

The Slater Ice Arena is home to our hockey team. A building filled with high energy, loud chants, and a decent hockey team. Also, you can ice skate there for a small fee. Win, win, win. Also what our hockey team tends to do.
J is for J-Term
New to BGSU for the 2018-19 academic year, students can use this extended winter break, coined "J-term" to study abroad, get ahead in their program, or catch up on missed credits. Nobody really knows how this is going to work, so we're just rollin with it.
K is for Kreischer

Ah, yes. The residence hall where most first-year students end up. No air conditioning, community bathrooms, and a far walk from most academic building. Don't fret though, after living in Kreischer myself my first year, I can personally testify that it is not all bad. I met amazing people, had a great RA, had an Outtakes right down the hall (personally blaming that for the Freshman 15), along with the Sundial just about 100 steps away.
L is for Library
Also known as Club Jerome, this is where you can spend a lot of time studying, or finding resources for your General Studies Writing class. The 7th floor is great for group projects, and the 8th floor is even better if you need quiet study time. Also, Club Jerome is open 24/5 during finals week.
M is for Meal Plan
Here's my advice:
If you have meal plan, don't waste it all on Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. We all love to have that cup of coffee when we walk into class, but you might regret it when you have 7 falcon dollars during finals week. If you don't have meal plan, make friends with someone who does.
N is for New Student Orientation

SOAR is that wonderful event that happens the summer before your first semester on campus. You may find friends within your major, while also getting your student ID, scheduling your classes, and seeing even more what BGSU has to offer.
O is for Oak Grove Cemetery
BGSU is the only university with a cemetery on its main campus. You kind of just learn to ignore it when you walk by, or admire it from the windows of the class you don't want to be sitting in.
P is for Pollyeyes

Honestly, if you go to BGSU, Pollyeyes will be something you crave after getting that first taste. The stuffed breadsticks are incredible, and their ranch is delicious. True college town eatery right there.
Q is for Queso
El Zarape Queso. Guajillo's Queso. Even Qdoba Queso. BG has options.
Never Chipotle Queso.
R is for Rodney Rogers

The newest president of THE Bowling Green State University. He is student oriented, super friendly, will fly kites with you, and honestly is just the greatest. Here is a link to his twitter.
S is for SICSIC

lowkey nightmare fuel, but also still fun to interact with. Another BGSU tradition that remains secret, while still promoting spirit across campus.
T is for Talons Up
What does it mean?? Well, it could mean a lot of things, here are some examples:
1. I just failed an exam, Talons up!
2. I have a $1.37 in my bank account, Talons UP!
3. I did really well in this class, TAloNZ UPPPP!
4. A casual greeting to a friend in a campus location: *throws talons*
5. pretty much a universal term for anything..... T A L O N S . U P .
U is for Union
The heart of campus. Home to Starbucks, and the Falcons Nest. Hangout in between class, work on homework, grab some food, pretty much whatever you want.
V is for Van Wright
Everybody who ever claims to be a falcon knows who Van Wright is. You will not meet another person with as much BGSU spirit as him, and he is truly a gem in orange shoes to be treasured. Here is his twitter.
W is for Wind
It's mean.
X is for Xylophone
Okay honestly, Xylophone is the only X word that I know, but I am sure that there is one SOMEWHERE on campus. Check the Moore Musical Arts Center.
PS- open to suggestions for what X should stand for.
Y is for Yelling "B-G"
S-U!
Z is for Ziggython

Morale Captains at Ziggython 2018
Probably one of the most inspiring student organizations that BGSU has to offer is Dance Marathon. A year long fundraiser leading up to a 24-hour event called Ziggython filled with dancing, standing, laughs, tears, and MIRACLES. Getting involved with DM was one of my best decisions, and is something that everyone should consider. You can find BGSU Dance Marathon here, and here.
Some letters have so many different options, so it is only fair to have some honorable mentions:
Bikes for Tikes, Dunkin Donuts, Flatlands, Mary Ellen Mazey, Ohio not Kentucky, Squirrels, and Starbucks.
