1. Denial
Despite showing countless symptoms and having all of your friends tell you to go to the doctor before it gets worse, you know the only cure to a bad cold or any other ailment is positive thinking!
2. Acceptance
After a few days of coughing, sniffling, and waking up surrounded my snotty tissues; you finally come to terms with the fact that you are sick as a dog.
3. Disruption
Apologize in advance to all of your classmates and professors because you know you’re going to be obnoxiously blowing your nose and coughing for the next fifty minutes… and to the girl next to me constantly hand sanitizing whenever I even move, I’m not sorry and am probably going to “accidentally” sneeze right in your direction next time I have to.
4. Death
Yes its true, you are dying and will never recover from this cold. Not even your mom can save you this time; you are going to die, so just throw in the towel because this is the end.
5. Recovery
Okay you got really lucky surviving this one. Two weeks later and you’re feeling much better and can finally walk around without an entire box of tissues in your backpack! But count your blessings because next time is surely going to be the death of you.
