Dear Best Friends,
I believe a thank you is in order to you for putting up with me- honestly you deserve a medal or a trophy at this point, so I'll see what I can do about that. I love you all more than anything in this world, and you guys have been my rock when I was down, a shoulder to cry on, there to hold my hair back, and have been at my side through it all. You guys have one of the most special places in my heart, and I could never imagine life without you.
To my best friends from home: where do I even begin? For years now, you have been my second family. Literally I call your parents mom and dad and can walk in your house completely unannounced and be welcomed. Your siblings have become mine whether we're going to concerts, games, or joining in on family movie night, they have become my siblings. Through the nights of endless sleepovers, wine nights, or taking hours to decide what movies to watch, or whether we want sushi or Applebee's, you have been at my side. Forcing you to third wheel has never been a problem because my boyfriend had become yours as well. Through college I have missed you more than anything. I count down the days until I'm home just to spend a few minutes with you guys. I miss your dogs and parents as much as I miss my own because they are mine too. But I truly just want to thank you guys for being there for me through everything and anything no matter how ridiculous and always being on my side whether I was right or wrong, thank you for holding my hand when I needed it, and for pushing me to do the hard things in life. You have truly become my second sisters and I could ever trade you for the world.
To my new best friends, it's only been a few short months since we have met, but it feels like years. You have become my home away from home. You listen to my constant complaints over pretty much everything, deal with my stupid jokes that really aren't funny at all, and are there when I need a party buddy or a study buddy. Nights in the lounge until 3 am are the best nights of the year, and days out in the quad are the absolute best (especially since it's usually 30 degrees every other day). Thank you for taking care of me when I'm sick, eating with me at the most outrageous times, walking home with me at night, and for all of the memories whether we remember them or not. I love each and every one of you, and I know that no matter what I can call you and you'll be in my room in about 2 seconds. You guys have become my true home away from home and I could not have had such an amazing time these past semesters without you.
Love always,
Your best friend
