It is hard to believe that we are just shy of summer break already! It seems like just yesterday that we were sitting in the dorm together for the first time as our parents drove away. I didn’t know how long I would last, or if we would all make it, but here is me telling you how grateful I am to have been able to spend my freshman year with you.
Thank you for all the laughs. I can’t even count how many times you guys had me cracking up over the stupidest things. That’s what roommates are for, right? I’ll always remember lying in bed and tagging you two in hilarious videos on Twitter and Instagram. I’m very glad we all have the same sick and twisted sense of humor. I know I am very sarcastic, and I cannot thank you guys enough for not being offended by me. I don’t know how we would have gotten along if that was not the case.
Thank you for never judging me. I know sometimes I can be a complete slob. I’ve never been the most organized person, and you both know that since my socks and bags are always scattered all over the floor. Thank you for never hating me for being such a mess. I know my bed is never made, my laundry bag is always blocking the door and I wear jeans when I’m too lazy to do my laundry.
Thank you for never punching me in the face when I make bad decisions. Whether it be the 7:15 a.m. morning incident, or all the times I did something just completely and utterly stupid, I thank you for never harming me (even though you probably should have). I know I’m not perfect, and should probably rethink my actions before I do them, but I know I can always count on you guys to be on my side even when I’m wrong.
Thank you for always being my shoulder to cry on. We all know that this semester started out extremely shaky for me, but thank you for never giving up on me. I could always count on you guys to put a smile on my face, or just hug me while I cried to you. Thanks for staying up with me until 3 a.m. while I cried about the stupid boy that broke my heart, and thanks for always encouraging me when I didn’t get the grade that I was hoping for.
Thank you for always letting me in when I lose my room key. We all know that I am very irresponsible and that I lose my key almost as much as I breathe, but thank you for never letting me be locked out. I suck, but next semester will be better when I don’t need an actual key anymore.
Overall, thank you for sharing memories with me and always being my girls. Living in a crappy freshman dorm with three people when it was made for two can suck, but you two were the silver lining of the entire situation. Thank you for all the good memories that I will never ever forget. The semester isn’t over yet girlies, let’s go out of freshman year with a bang!
