To the guy who I never give enough credit, this one is for you. With three years of dating right on the horizon, only days away, I have to thank you for everything you have done for me. We have had so many life experiences together, both good and bad, and have grown up side by side. From meeting and becoming friends when we were the ripe age of 15, to dating sporadically and having crushes on one another to finally solidifying our relationship on January 11, 2014, you have made me such a happy girl.
When we started dating, you had already been my friend for several years. However, you quickly transitioned from being not just a boyfriend, but a best friend as well. Our times together are never boring, and the laughter between us is endless. You know exactly how to push my buttons, but you do it because you know it will make me laugh. I never thought I could enjoy sitting on the couch watching a movie with someone just as much as I enjoy going out and having a good time. We can have an hour long conversation about the most random things, but I can also tell you anything that is on my mind knowing you’d never tell a soul if I asked you not to.
You accept and love me for me, and I could never thank you enough for that. You support me in all of my passions, dreams, and hobbies making me feel like I always have someone in my corner cheering me on, even for the simplest things. The support you give me especially for my riding means the most and I appreciate you never complaining when I show up smelling like a horse or when my car is a dirty mess! I think you may even be getting used to it and that says something! But your dedication and interest in my passions is what made me fall for you from the start, and it has only grown stronger with your continuing support.
I have always been one to put a smile on my face, regardless of how I am truly feeling, and keep all of my emotions bottled up inside of me. However, you have allowed me to feel comfortable to open up and always help me when I am feeling down or stressing out, which we both know it is impossible for me not to stress out! You listen to all of my problems, help me find the best solution, and then always make sure at the end of the conversation I am smiling again and feeling better about everything. You have been there for me through some pretty difficult times and I cannot thank you enough for being my rock and shoulder to lean on through it all.
Bobby, you have made me very happy and I am thankful to have you in my life. You have spoiled me and taken me on so many fun adventures. Whenever I look through our millions of pictures or think back on all of our memories, I realize it is a never ending list! We have truly made the best of our three years together and I cannot wait to celebrate it! I also cannot wait to see what this next future has in store for us. So because I never say it enough, thank you for everything you do for me, being one of my best friends, for loving me for who I am, and always keeping a smile on my face. Happy 3 Years, I love you!
