Tell-tale Signs You're the Lazy Friend

If you're like me, you've probably discovered that your preferred lifestyle is one that mainly consists of sleeping, eating, Netflix, and generally not much physical activity; in other words, we are the lazy friend. To some, this may not sound like an ideal life, but that's where they are wrong.

Being lazy lets you tap into your full creative potential, because, well, you aren't doing much else. It also forces you to become innovative when looking for the easiest way to do things. Okay, maybe I'm just trying to justify it here, but all in all, there is no reason to be ashamed of being lazy! Here are some telltale signs that you are indeed the lazy one in your friend group, as told by the cast of "New Girl".

1. You sometimes have to defend how you have spent your day to others

Because finishing four seasons of your favorite show is an accomplishment that should be celebrated. How else would I keep up with the Kardashians??

2. You often have great ideas, but may not always follow them through

You're just so full of good ideas that you can't keep up with them...yeah, that's it.

3. You don't understand people that don't love sleep as much as you do

Wake up before 11 am on a weekend?? Are they crazy??

4. You occasionally get a little behind on your laundry

It's just such an ordeal to have to wash AND dry AND put all the clothes away after. Ugh.

5. When your friends ask how your diet is going, you have to clarify what you actually meant by "getting in shape"

Commit to an exercise routine? Haha, no thank you.

6. The worst thing someone can do to you is wake you up from your nap to tell you something

What could possibly be more important than my sleep at 3 in the afternoon? Yeah, nothing!

7. In your mind, sweatpants material is the best material

It's comfortable, it's practical, and it's the best dang invention since the couch to be honest.

8. Your friends always tease you for never leaving your house

Why leave the house when you have everything you need to be comfortable inside?

9. Your lifestyle brings you joy, no matter what other people say

So, my fellow lazy people, don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't be lazy because there's nothing wrong with it. Spend all day in bed! Wear sweatpants wherever you go! Just embrace your comfy lifestyle and laugh at those who haven't discovered how great it is. Kick back, relax, and don't move for a few hours--you'll feel relaxed and happier in no time.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
