Take Your Eyes Off Your Phone And Call Her, Texting Is Not How You Keep A Relationship Thriving

Dating in today's society has come down to simply talking through social media and text message and calling it a "relationship." Yes, it is important to get to know someone, but through a phone screen is not the way to do it. To keep a relationship at its full potential, it is important to keep communication open at all times, no matter how hard it may be.

To have a successful relationship, you have to be vulnerable and open and honest with the person you are in a relationship with. You have to let them into your life and show them everything there is to know about you, the good, bad, and ugly. That means that you have to have tough conversations at times. You will not always agree and you will fight, but if you continue to communicate, you will get through it and it will make your relationship stronger.

Be honest with your significant other about how you are feeling. If you are having any doubts or concerns about the relationship, tell them about it. Let them know how you are feeling and you can figure out how to deal with it together. Do not just shove those feelings aside and let the relationship die because if you work it out the relationship could end up being really good and even better than ever. On the flip side, also tell your significant other when you are happy with how things are going. Always be honest about the relationship so they are not left guessing how you feel and making wrong assumptions. Honesty is always the best way to keep a relationship healthy.

If you are honest with other people, others will be comfortable with being honest with you. Point blank. If other people know that you are comfortable with communicating and you are easy to talk to and open about your feelings then they will be comfortable talking to you and open up to you as well.

Communicating allows you both to be on the same page. You do not have to question anything or make any assumptions about the relationship or the other person. You will have a mutual understanding of what you are looking for in the relationship and what the other person wants. The more communication that there is in the relationship, the more you will be able to figure out if they are the person for you and if you are meant to spend the rest of your life with them. The more open you are the more capable you are of falling in love with that person.

Love is something that everyone looks for in life and is almost everyone's ultimate goal. Communication is the key component in any relationship and is something that every couple can work on. The better the communication the better the relationship. Do not be afraid to open up and to speak your mind, it will ultimately lead you to know if you are truly meant to be in that relationship and if they are going to be the person you are meant to spend the rest of your life with.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
