Just Breathe

Have you ever felt so overwhelmed with everything going on in your life? You have to go to school, or work, or church, or a meeting, plus do homework, take care of kids, and sleep, etc. Okay, no one person probably does all of these things, but you can pick and choose the ones that you try to balance every day. All of it gets to be too much sometimes. Let’s face it we all have those days where we feel like we can't take the stress. Well, let me just say that it is okay to just take a step back from all the craziness in your life and just breathe.

I know that most of us nowadays feel like we have to accomplish everything to really feel like we did something right. We have to get involved in a lot and go to all the events. Have you ever considered what you feel are the most important things in your life? When you think about those things, it seems crazy to waste time and energy on the other things in your life that are just weighing you down and overwhelming you.

Newsflash: you don’t have to do everything to be involved or to be doing something right. It is okay to cut down on the activities you do. It is okay to miss out sometimes because you need rest or have something else that you need to do. I could be wrong, but I don’t think that anyone is going to be upset with you if you have to take a step back and you can’t make it to something. Everyone needs the time to relax and rest because you are more likely to be at your best if you take the time to rejuvenate yourself. In my opinion, it is better to miss out on something than to stress yourself out to the point that it could be serious.

Therefore, it is okay to just take a step back from life and just breathe.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
