As my spring semester and your last semester at Rowan comes to an end, I would like to thank you for a great year. These last two semesters, I have been so lucky to have been able to take three of your classes. Every single class I have taken with you was the best class ever.
The passion you have for each class topic made the class enjoyable. Even at 8 A.M., when I was tired from a stressful and sleepless night, coming to your class made everything better.
Your lessons and perspectives on each topic made me want to come to class and know what you have to say. For the first time in a long time, I was excited to go to class!
But it wasn't just to academic lessons that made me enjoy your classes. It is the welcoming atmosphere you have in your classroom. It is small anecdotes of your life that you would tell us and somehow, amazingly, connect it back to the lesson. It is the advice, both the funny and the sincere ones, you gave us that would just make my whole day.
You have reminded me why I became an English major. Throughout my college years, all my English classes have been the same thing, and it was getting boring. I lost my love of reading and writing, but you made English fun again!
You have also shown me what it is like to be a great teacher. A teacher has to be someone who is supportive, understanding, and has a passion for what they are doing. You are truly an inspiration.
So, I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for creating entertaining and educational classes that I will remember for years to come. But, most importantly, thank you for being a wonderful role model for me and all the future teachers you have taught.
