Whether you will be traveling to this beloved city or you happen to live in the area, here are a few places and things you can't miss out on while in Miami.
Oleta River State Park
If you’re into outdoor adventures then visiting Oleta River State Park is a must this summer. Located on Biscayne Bay the park offers variety of activities ranging from kayaking to camping, even mountain biking. Sporting Events
Whether or not you are a sports fanatic, if you live in Miami or are vacationing here during the Summer time you can’t go without attending a baseball game at Marlins Park. I guarantee you will have a great time at the game regardless of if the Marlins can’t manage to win. Aside from baseball, the beginning of summer means NBA playoffs and how can you pass going to American Airlines Arena to watch the Miami Heat bring back the championship.
Miami Bike Scene
When it comes to cycling in Miami, the events are endless. Whether
it’s a Family Sunday stroll in Miami Beach or Critical Mass, there’s something

being Critical Mass is normally held on the last Friday of every month, where
bicyclist meet at a specific location and ride up to 18 miles in groups along
the open streets of Miami.
Free Films at SoundScape
For my movie watchers, I bet you wouldn't turn down a free movie given the chance. What if I told you this isn't your typical movie theater, in fact the films are displayed on a 7,000-square-foot outdoor projection wall at the New World Center’s ExoStage. Located in Miami Beach, Soundscape show free movies on Wednesday's at around 8pm. Forget drive in movies, grab a lawn chair and go enjoy a free movie this summer.
Miami Art District
Paying a visit to Wynwood, you will be enthralled by the abundance of art that surrounds you. Regardless of your preferred style of art, there you will find dozens of galleries, museums and small businesses that will draw you in. Common for its events such as Art Walk, Wynwood is also host to a myriad of festivals yearlong. If you're ever in the area it would be wrong not to pass by and absorb all the artistic vibes.
