There are two subtypes of people on college campuses: the student athletes and the full-time students. What happens when these two worlds collide? What is it like being a student-athlete compared to just a student? Finally, what's it like living with a student-athlete (or in our case four student-athletes)?
Student: I'm so alone, with no one here beside me.
Athlete: Always at practice or hitting the gym.
Student: Where did all the food go in this apartment?
Athlete: Happily eats three servings of cookies post workout.
Student: Who in the world is slamming doors at 5:30 in the morning? I need to sleep. I have an 8 a.m. class.
Athlete: At 5:30 a.m. we are rolling out of bed like
Student: Why are their rolls of toilet paper flying around the apartment right now?
Athlete: Go long!
Student: I have a band concert tomorrow night.
Athlete: Brings a squad of other athletes and waves around posters/signs and cheers like you just won the championship of classical music.
Student: Let's go to Zumba, yoga or aerobics
Athlete: Already spent four hours at the gym in the morning. Goes to yoga: What is this quiet?
Student: Hey do you guys want to grab dinner?
Athlete: Sorry, team dinner. Every night.
Student: Can you guys hurry
Athlete: I'm moving as fast as I can!
Athlete:"Heads up, we have a recruit staying with us this week!
Student: So does this mean I have to wear pants?
Athlete: Turns apartment into a jungle gym.
Student: Why in the world do I live with you people?
Like the last minute of every sports game, there is a never a dull moment when you live with or are friends with a student athlete.
