It Is OK To Fail Throughout Your Weight Loss Journey

During weight loss journeys, most people have the most ambition and fire in the beginning. They know that they want to lose weight and will do so by any means necessary. It seems so easy to start, and if you were anything like me, you watched a ton of Youtube videos of other peoples body transformation and used this as a way to motivate you. Everyone in those videos never usually talks about how hard it is to start losing weight again after you quit for a day, a week, a couple of weeks etcetera because those days will come eventually.

The easiest thing to do is quit on yourself. Staying consistent throughout this transformation will probably be the most challenging thing you have to do. It's not the exercising, the foods you have to eat, it will be trying to keep your head in the game. If you are someone looking for an easy way out to lose weight, which includes fad diets, quick and easy fat loss I'm here to tell you that they don't work. Even if it was to work it may not be long-lasting. I know this may seem harsh, but it was the same wake-up call for me. Since I've lost a significant amount of weight, I have realized that the only way to lose weight is in a healthy, controlled and slow way. Although progression may be slow, I know for a fact that the weight won't come back as quickly.

To whoever may be reading, It is entirely okay to have moments where you quit. What matters most is that you decide to keep going. Don't let a break in your journey stop you from continuing at all. If you do all you will say is " If I kept going I would be at my goal" or something along those lines. You have to remind yourself what the whole purpose of losing weight. Whether Whatever your reasons may be, never lose sight of that as you want to give up. It is possible, and you will reach your goal. That's all I will be telling myself.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
