There's a lot of talk going around saying that the show SNL: Saturday Night Live is messing up Trump's administration. What's interesting is, the only people who are upset are the people who are a part of the Trump administration.
Basically, SNL did some skits that pertained to the craziness of Trump's new orders. There were multiple skits that were geared to both Spicer and Kellyanne Conway. In those skits, they were basically portraying them how they saw them. There have been times where people didn't understand why Conway and Spicer were acting the way they did in front of the camera. Some things that they did were questionable because no one would have expected them to act the way they did. There was one particular skit that is getting a lot of attention, the Spicer skit. In this skit, Spicer is being played by Melissa McCarthy and she is portraying Spicer as a loud, mean, and rude Press Secretary. In all actuality, that portrayal of him was pretty accurate. If one was to watch the video of when Spicer was raising his voice at the press, they would see that Spicer was being pretty loud, mean, and rude.
As for Conway, SNL always portrayed her as someone who speaks dryly, at least that's what I got out of it. There is one skit that is under fire, the skit where they are remaking a movie scene. Some people were mad because Conway was portrayed as a sex-crazed woman. But my personal favorite skit was when it was her day off and she was still called into work. Many of the skits that pertain to Conway are funny.
SNL is a well-known television show that has been on for over forty years; the majority of their skits are politically so I don't know why people are getting upset. Trump's administration knew what they were getting themselves into because well before he was elected, Trump was being bashed on SNL. So, everything that SNL is doing, they should keep it up. I love the fact that SNL is an amazing show and their portrayals are worth watching.
