YouTube has quickly become the haven for just about every niche in the world. Whether it be video games, cooking, pranks or in this case sneakers, YouTube is where expression is at its best. With the recent rise in sneaker popularity and culture comes the rise in YouTube personalities as well. Now, sneaker enthusiasts across the globe can log in, subscribe and watch videos pertaining to collections, unboxings, trades, opinions and even mall trips. These successful YouTube personalities have grown extremely popular over the past year or so, as many have eclipsed the 100k and 200k subscriber mark, which is a huge accomplishment for such a niche group like us sneaker heads.
Anyhow, if you consider yourself to be a sneaker head or connoisseur, there are a few channels you need to be subscribed to and watching on the regular. Being able to see early sneakers, some of the most exclusive kicks on the market, and seeing how the market works in malls across the country are just a few benefits of tuning into some of the more successful channels.
Now, please subscribe to the following channels. You won't be disappointed.
BULL1TRC
One of the most successful channels on YouTube, Christian Bright, better known as BULL1TRC, is famous for his catchy videos consisting of unboxings, mall trips, and weekly sneaker rotations. Recently, he's reached the 200k subscriber plateau and continues to make some of the most clean and concise videos around. Tune in for "Yet. Another. Video."
RICH'S KICKS
A late bloomer, Mike Rich has burst onto the scene recently and eclipsed the 100k mark with authority. With his easy to remember catch phrase, "Lets dooooooo it," and his ever popular mall vlogs and extensive sneaker reviews, Mike Rich has carved a spot in the sneaker community for himself and his channel.
Nightwing2303
The best performance review channel on the market. Period. From Nike to Li-Ning to BrandBlack, Nightwing and his team review just about everything and give very insightful feedback. I think my favorite videos on YouTube come from this channel, his "Unboxing a Ton of Dope S***" videos are something I genuinely look forward to each and every week. Not only is this channel great for reviewing sneakers, but Nightwing is also a huge comic book and superhero fan. The best of both worlds, sneakers and comics.
MR. FOAMER SIMPSON
One of the OGs, he's been around and is one of the more recognizable YouTube faces. His channel blew up so well that he's in Finishline advertisements, and was even in a StockX commercial during the NBA playoffs. His channel, with the classic drumming monkey figure (subscribe and you'll know what I'm talking about), has some of the best shots of upcoming sneaker releases, as well as extremely well-shot city vlogs.
SNEAKERHEADINTHEBAY
One of the best sneaker customizers out there, and someone with very dope videos in just about every way. From simple sneaker vlogs, to unboxings, to cutting Doernbecher Jordan 3s in half with an electric saw, SINTB has a channel that is worthy of his 200k+ subscribers.
TONYD2WILD
One of the more comical channels, Tony is a straight goofball. His weekly sneaker rotations and mall vlogs will have you chuckle on more than one occasion and his actual sneaker reviews are genuinely helpful. Oh, and he and BULL1TRC have their own clothing brand, SMPL Industries. Check them out.
These are just a few of the many innovative and creative sneaker channels you should subscribe to on YouTube. These guys are a good start and will open the door to so many more channels you didn't even know existed.
