Las Vegas is the place to view the largest smorgasbord of people on earth. Women and men getting married in tiny chapels and people gambling at 8 in the morning. It’s known for its casinos, night life, and instant wedding chapels. Its summer temperatures can get over 120 degrees (don’t forget it’s in a desert) and when that happens and you feel like you’re melting, there are a multitude of pool parties to help you cool off. Having just returned from a visit, I can attest to all of these things.
There are the married couples who are off for a weekend vacation, gambling and lounging around or there are the married women or men who come without their spouse to live it up -- probably just a little too much. The young, single people who come to find love in a very, very hopeless place are abundant and you can tell who they are just by looking. The guys try to impress girls with the $500 bottles of champagne and the girls work on perfecting their walk in 5 inch heels. Some families make it into their vacation when one of the parents is called there for a convention. Then there are the ones who live in Las Vegas who seem to get a kick from hanging around tourists (I mean, who wouldn’t?). Some dress up as characters in the streets or get jobs being a show girl or boy, making money the best way they can in this crazy city.
Whether you’re visiting Sin City to gamble, party, work, or all of the above, you are sure to have a good time. Vegas’ blazing hot weather and endless entertainment options are sure to keep you busy. You can view the entire city with Red Rock Canyon in the background from the top of The Highroller, see some famous look-a-likes at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, gamble your luck away at MGM Grand Casino, watch a UFC fight at T-Mobile Arena, shop all day on the Strip, or just hang out with some famous DJs at a pool party -- there are always so many things to do and experience.
I highly suggest going to visit Las Vegas if not just for the pure joy of it, then to honor the Hangover movies. My trip this past weekend was a trip of a lifetime and I can say that Las Vegas is definitely a place to go before you die.
