No matter how old you get, the waiting for summer seems to drag on and on. The work days are long, and the homework assignments are daunting. However, summer is always worth the wait. Here are a couple signs that your summer vacation is near; it’s beginning and you cannot wait!
1. Finals are coming up
Before we can begin to enjoy our summer vacation, we have to do one thing. Take our final exams... simple right? It is convenient that these required exams, that could be considered torture, are prior to the best few months of the year. When that last essay is submitted and the final exam is handed in, summer has officially arrived.
2. Big events
Graduation party invitations are flooding your Facebook. Once you start receiving these announcements, get pumped. Not only were you invited to parties that will have great food and cake, but soon parties will be your only priority.
3. Making plans
Everyone is back! Your hometown, even if it's boring, is better in the summer. As people begin to trickle back from their colleges, summer plans start to formulate. Your bestie group message is filling up with ideas of music festivals, sleepovers, and road trips.
4. Appearances
Everyone is beginning to realize that with summer right around the corner, swimsuit season is in full swing. It is time to kick that summer body into shape and be able to walk around the pool with confidence. Pedicures are necessary as well. Sandal season requires pretty toes.
6. Outside atmosphere
Everything outside screams summer. People are beginning to mow their lawns and plant flowers, cook on the grill, and wash their cars. Another perk is that the sun stays up longer, making the days feel longer. Yesssssss!
7. Revamped appeal
Once people break out the sandals and shorts, you know that the best season of the year is near. Even if you living in the Midwest, people dress as if they're going to the beach. Department stores are well aware of the upcoming fashion change and fill the stores with all the best summer attire.
One last way that you'll know summer is near is that you hear "I cannot wait for summer" every single day from multiple people.
